Dead Rising is the zombie killing mayhem extraordinaire by Capcom (the makers of Resident Evil and other zombie games). Dead Rising is a gme designed for Xbox 360 and boasts good graphics and sounds combined with a massive interactive environment to play in. The only problems are that it is highly repetitive and the zombies are incrdibly easy to kill (they travel in hundreds to counter this). The game has a very different storyline than any other game I've played. You play the role of a hournalist who is trying to get the story on the zombie outbreak in his city. You land on the massive shopping mall, and have 5 days to get your story before meeting the extraction chopper. You pretty much play out what happens over the next 5 days, and based on how to perform certain missions and what requirements of the game you fulfill, you can end up staying longer and get points for the various actions.
All in all, Capcom has certainly managed to come with a zombie game that is different from any of theiur previous mega-ventures, but is still highly entertaining.
